Dinghy sailing
The south coast of Cornwall is particularly devoted to the practice of sailing. In the cove bay of Penzance or even at the mouth of the River Fal or the Helford River, the stretches of open water benefit from the protection offered by Land’s End and the Lizard Point peninsulas. It is for this reason that many high level events are regularly based here.
